Description
Glycyrrhiza polysaccharide is a kind of natural plant polysaccharide, which has antiviral, immunomodulatory and anti-tumor activities.
Glycyrrhiza polysaccharide has obvious antiviral effect on herpes simplex virus type I, vesicular stomatitis virus, adenovirus type III, vaccinia virus and HIV, especially on HIV inhibition rate of 36.2%. The immunomodulatory effect is mainly reflected in the influence on the function of mononuclear macrophage system in mouse reticuloendothelial system, and can also activate the proliferation effect of spleen lymphocytes and anti-complement activity in static mice.
Glycyrrhiza polysaccharides can act on tumor cells alone or in concert with chemotherapy drugs.
